Last minute Father’s Day ideas

So, another Father’s Day is upon us (in the UK anyway) and it seems to have snuck up on me this year – only 3 days to go and no sign of a present for Mr Hectic Mum. ARGH.
Google time I think. I’ve had a quick scour and found some great experience days on the Virgin website, although £375 to drive a nice car around a track a couple of time might be stretching the budget a bit, but a tour of Old Trafford could be on the cards.

Next Google leads me to M&S which seems to have pretty much everything for the modern dad (even some pretty plants and a man-bag or two..although I’m not sure that would be appreciated in my household). Even better, if you order before Noon delivery is guaranteed within 24hours, hoorah!

I could be here all day actually, Google tells me there are ‘about 200,000,000’ pages related to ‘Father’s Day present’, so perhaps a good old breakfast in bed, crate of beer and night of his favourite TV might be the easiest option?

Actually I did notice fab foody blog Bakerella (if you haven’t visited you really should) had a great idea for a Father’s Day treat, but for those of us short of time, these gorgeous looking Cheesecake Pops look great and if I cheat a bit and buy a 99p ready-made cheesecake, I can have it done in no time! I think I may give these a go, mainly just because I want to eat them!

Of course I could just give him free reign of my credit card for 10 minutes and point him in the direction of Get The Label’s sale – he could do with throwing out some of his old clothes but for some reason he gets very attached to his bobbled, stained, been-washed-so-many-times-its-see-through shirts and jumpers. I might just get rid of them when he’s not looking….
