So the big news in the world of Fashion this week is that Harvey Nichols London has dedicated a whole wall on its fashion floor to women’s trainers!! They’ve finally realised that trainers aren’t just something you wear down the gym – they can actually be a fashion statement too. Now it’s the turn of one of my favourite trends…nautical! Why is it my favourite you ask? Well, it’s easy peasy and I think it suits everyone.

Key colours for this naval officer/pirate trend are navy, black, white, gold and red. You can also go a bit silly with accessories - anchors on necklaces, neckties and bags, big sparkly rings and chunky gold bangles.

The hot news from the Catwalks for Spring/Summer 2010 is that the 1980s trend looks set to run and run.
